On May 19th at 1:04am, Patrolman Thomas Behrens arrested Jerry Anderson 3rd, 22, of Barnegat for DWI after stopping Anderson’s vehicle for speeding on Barnegat Blvd. Anderson’s vehicle was impounded for 12 hours in accordance with John’s Law. Anderson was processed and released with summonses for DWI, reckless driving, speeding, failure to maintain lane, driving with a suspended drivers license, driving with an expired drivers license, failure to wear a seat belt, and failure to produce documents.

On May 24th at 6:47pm, Patrolman Alex Hoffman arrested Kenneth Hynes Jr., 58, of Crosswicks for DWI after stopping Hynes’s car on Route 72 for failing to maintain lane of travel. Hynes’s vehicle was impounded for 12 hours in accordance with John’s Law. Hynes was processed and released with summonses for DWI, failure to submit breath samples, reckless driving, failure to maintain lane, failure to produce registration, and failure to produce proof of insurance.
