On Saturday, October 26th from 10am to 2pm the Barnegat Police Department in conjunction with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will give the public an opportunity to prevent prescription medication abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs.
Members of the public who have prescription drugs that they would like disposed are invited to bring them to the Barnegat Municipal Court at 900 West Bay Avenue between 10am and 2pm on October 26th. The service is free and anonymous. Unfortunately, we will be unable to accept or dispose of syringes.
